Thomas Tillam was a prominent preacher north of London who baptized scores of people. He eventually closed his church on Sundays and started holding services on Saturdays while urging people to carry on with their business on Sundays. This stirred up a conflict with the authorities and he was eventually put in prison. While there he wrote this book which urges the importance of why worship is especially due to God on the seventh day. It goes on to explain why the great controversy will be between the Saints and the Man of Sin over the seventh-day Sabbath.
