Bolgatanga Church Building Project
Here is a short report from Evangelist Gabriel, director of Temple Restored Ghana after his evangelistic series in Bolgatanga, a region located at the top of the country, as they call it "the far north".
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Mathew 24:14
And after the resurrection of Christ, He commissioned His disciples to go "into all the world" and "teach all nations." They were to leave none unwarned, but were to "preach the gospel to every creature." Matthew 28:19. This has been our work, to go to every part (of Ghana) to preach the gospel even though there may be some challenges, but everyone needs to hear the 3 angels’ messages to make decisions for themselves.
I was in Bolgatanga in 2004, for the first crusade that lead to the establishment of four churches in the area. Since then, the work has been moving forward, but with four Bible workers we expected more to have been done, although the workers had to work under extreme difficulties sometimes. My team of four went there on December 20, 2021 to have a public crusade in the evenings and also organize a seminar on Evangelism and medical missionary work during the day to sharpen the four workers there, and also to see their needs and help them to move the work forward over there. The weather in the northern part of the country is extremely hot, and with its poverty in the area, does not encourage many missionaries to go there for the mission work, but the people there are very receptive to the word of God in spite of all their problems.
The crusade went very well for all the 7 nights...We have 45 people who have given us their names to study and worship with us. Follow-up work is going on. One thing that also made us happy, was some of the people who were once church members and have left the church - we visited them, talked to them, prayed with them and they are coming back to church.
