Helping the Poor
Temple Restored started working in Ghana in 2003 after conducting an evangelistic series. While teaching, preaching and doing evangelism, our burden was to see as many people as possible accept Christ into their hearts. However, we believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ can make the greatest impact in the lives of the poor when it lifts them, and helps them in their day to day life. When they see God working personally for them, that is when the gospel really comes alive in their heart. We realize we cannot help all of Africa, but we can help the churches that God has allowed us to raise up. It is our heart's desire to see every member of the church in a position where they can feed their families, earn a small living and be able to provide for their children. It has been a tremendous blessing to us and the church members to see how the Lord has blessed them. We are continually looking for ways and ideas to help them move forward and upward.Psalms 113:7, 8 says, “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; 8)That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.”

"Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7) is it to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?" Isaiah 58:6, 7
Our Ghana Projects
Feed the Hungry
Feed the Hungry food program was started after learning that church members and their children were struggling to eat and would sometimes go without food for days. Here in America we have excess when it comes to food, and what we throw away would satisfy these hungry brothers and sisters and bring a smile to their face. Feed the Hungry food program helps to supply a free meal to the church members once or more per month. $50 helps to feed 30 people.
Bible Worker Support
In 2006 Temple Restored Ministry made a commitment to begin to support some of the dedicated men who minister as Pastors and Bible Workers for their Churches, if in turn, they would forward to us written and photo documentation of their work. On an average week, these brothers would lead out in Church services and spend 15-20 hours per week visiting people in the community or conducting Bible Studies.
