Overruled: Government Invasion of Your Parental Rights

We see the fabric of society gradually being destroyed. But when the family unit is broken down, it affects the church and the community. It is Satan's studied plan to destroy our homes, and he has found a way, by using the government to destroy parental rights.

"Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. 21Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged."

Typhoon Sendong Hits Iligan City

On December 17th Typhoon Sendong hits Iligan city where many people lost their lives. "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareath for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14

I you are alive to read this, remember: "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. 23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lam. 3:22, 23. We therefore have an obligation to warn others of the great trouble that is just upon us while we are able to work. "...the night cometh, when no man can work." John 9:4 "Even now he (satan) is at work. In accidents and calamities by sea and by land...in tempests, floods, cyclones, tidal waves, and earthquakes..." GC 589 "And then the great deceiver will persuade men that those who serve God are causing these evils." GC 590

Sugar: The Bitter Truth

Robert H. Lustig, MD, UCSF Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, explores the damage caused by sugary foods. He argues that fructose (too much) and fiber (not enough) appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic through their effects on insulin.

"Anything that hinders the active motion of the living machinery affects the brain very directly. And from the light given me, sugar, when largely used, is more injurious than meat." Counsels on Health p. 150

Would you believe a cartoon that was made in 1948 dealing with our freedoms has almost reached its fulfillment? Someone knew what was on the agenda!

May the Lord help us to recognize the signs of the times in which we are living. Jesus is soon to end His work in the Most Holy Place of the heavenly Sanctuary, and it will be closed. Closed to those who did not watch and pray, closed to those who decided not to send their sins on before hand to judgment, closed to those who waited to make a decision to late.

Let us not waste the remaining hours of this earth's probation, or the Lord's grace. Mercy is strteched out still, but we have to watch and pray and make a decided change in our lives.
